I have created this post for the pre-production/ idea stage of
Part Delta.


For the majority of the world that hasn't a clue what this is about, here is a brief synopsis:

Me, being the cool guy I am, decided to invite Dan and ']['ommy round to make a 'film' with his digital camera (which can do 40 secs of film in a go). We made a film, and it was so ridiculously ridiculous that we decided we needed 3 parts. We made these 3 parts and named them 'Alpha','Beta' and 'Gamma'. The only one on the web is 'Alpha' (because of the MASSIVE file sizes), but you will need a password to view, and it is unlikely you will get approval from the 3 of us (although you might get it from 1) to have a password to it.

There's the synopsis of what is known as the "PREMIERE TRILOGY". And because "all good trilogies come in fours", we want to do a 4th part (Delta), but make this one a combination of action, spoof and downright idiotism, but also I have agreed (after being repeatedly poked with a broom) to actually do "a bit of not to difficult" animation, that will give the film extra flavour.

We wouldn't mind hearing ideas, but this is for recording our ideas too!

Starts with Black screen and scrolling up text explaining story (in an American Texan voice):

Long, long ago, in a galaxy far, far away, in the fictional country of England, where there lived Fearsome Dragons, Handsome Knights and Anne Widdecome (picture flashes on screen with high pitch scream).

However, now on the Isle of England, much had changed. The price of a pint of beer had risen from 1 Penny to £2.45, dragons and knights had been replaced with Little Chefs and chavs, and Anne Widdecome had been replaced by... Anne Widdecome(picture flashes on screen with high pitch scream - again). But, for some unknown reason, the nasty mean dictator, Ronald Mc Adolf, had illegally got into the country, and was rallying support for his Anti-Everyone-He-Doesn't-Like-Must-Die Campaign, and because it was Saturday afternoon, all the men were watching football, all the women cooking dinner and the children swearing and beating each other up, so nobody had noticed... or had they...

Dictator: Nein! England must be destroyed... by the slow but painful introduction of high fat and clinically obese levels of cholestrol 'Mc Certain Death Macs'.
Guard: Boss, can I go and build a sandcastle?
Dictator: No, you stupid fool, take your 'Happy' pill NOW!
Guard: OK boss.

Sniper snipes out Guard

Guard: Happy Pill Makes Me Sad.
Dictator (and army) start chase on far off sniper.

Add lots of random effects and scenes within chase, finally ending up with Sniper (who has lost his band of 2 men) and Dictator (who's army is also gone). Sniper has run out of bullets. [If we need to put in two parts, there will be a ridiculous cliffhanger somewhere in the chase, like someone standing on a really low cliff.)

Dictator: It ends here, revel your identity.
(Sniper's face is changed through various superheros and people [on PC] and eventually ends as just a normal person)
Sniper: The name's Bund, James Bund.
Dictator: It ends here, so with this McGun, which will cause you McPain, McBleeding and eventually McDeath! Muahahahahah!
Sniper: I think you over-used Mc., you stupid (something).
BANG! Sniper Falls.
Dictator: muahahahha!
Sniper Rises.
Sniper: Ich bin back female dog.
Dictator: Waaaaaaaaaa!
Sniper (in same voice as in Beta): Say your prayers!
Bang - blood goes everywhere Dictator dies in slow mo, reds splashes etc. "SHOT IN THE HEART" line from 'You give love a bad name" (Bon Jovi) plays.
Sniper screams and dies.
Anne Widdecome is standing there (really crap lip sync to song)

Scrolling Text
And so, the mythical lands of Narnia remained safe after the White Witch was banished.... Oh right, wrong story... And so, the mythical lands of England went about business as normal from that day on, and the people and unicorns there today live in harmony, except for Anne Widdecome who started talking beef to a burly security guard at the Asylum Seekers Deporting Lounge, and was sent to Albania.

Unfortunately for her, she enjoyed it too much, and so was deported back to MILTON KEYNES (picture of satan and death/chaos sounds).

Now all we have to do is act it and film it (and then I have to edit it, add in the effects, fix errors, optimize the sound and export it, possibly split it into, add the preloaders, credits, try and find somewhere to host it if the filesize is small enough and then create a page on my site for it :P)

Good news! :)

I have found a way to make the actual video clips change colour (like the endings of Alpha and Gamma). This shud add extra effect and style e.g. thermal vision, infa red, monotone etc.

Just thought I'd post it to let you know, and so I can remember to do it if I forget!

Part Delta of the Premiere Trilogy has been compiled, edited etc. etc. and it needs to be checked and after that I will try to find somewhere to host it on the net (once again, not MY server because it will waste valuable space for my site and may not even fit), and hopefully it'll work on 'Tripod.com'.

It is made though, and personally I think it is better than expected, with the additional effects making it much better in visual design than the other three.

I'll keep you posted..... :D

Parts Beta, Gamma and Delta should be put together along with part Alpha on the same web space so there's no annoying searching around the barnoproductions website for it.

How many times do I have to explain why I can't get them on the web - I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH SPACE and am not paying for more per month for 3 FILMS. I MAY BE ABLE TO GET ONE UP, BUT I AM NOT WASTING MY TIME ASKING PEOPLE FOR SPACE FOR THEM. If I find a place for them, I will tell you. and they aren't spread around the site, because there is only one of them (Alpha) which is clearly under the flash page where you'd expect to find it.

There's no need to lock the post... then if someone actually has to post something important on this thread about Part Delta, then they can... but there's no point in closing it, just don't use it unless it's of relevance :)

Incidently, I've found a site that allows you to host up 20MB that's a bit like imageshack.us, so I could be linking up most of the Premiere Trilogy online soon!(other than the obesely oversized 'Gamma')
